From the Blog
- Sunday Too Far Away (1975): First, a couple of new film reviews. Have a look in our blog to read about "Sunday Too Far Away" from 1975. Starring Jack Thompson, it tells the story of workers on a sheep station in the Australian outback.
- Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011):And, from just last year, there's a review of "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" which has just come out on DVD. It's a story of espionage, set during the Cold War, starring Gary Oldman. Try renting either of these movies yourself, and see if you agree with what our reviewer has to say.
Activities
- Fruit skewers: The next in our series of cooking activities looks at a novel way to serve fruit. Tom shows us how to put together fruit skewers. You might want to give these a go next time you invite guests around for a barbie.
- Autumn pruning: Andrew Laidlaw from the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne demonstrates how to prune perennial ground cover.

- Heart attack survivor stories: Our focus on Heart Health continues. Firstly, with two stories from heart attack survivors that you can find in our Health section.
- Warning signs - educational video: And, while you're there, take a look at the educational video from the Heart Foundation which helps us spot the warning signs of a heart attack.
