Check out what's new on the site in February. Dr Karl is back again, we have some handy tips on what to look out for when buying a used car and we also have two more film reviews for you to read.
Welcome to The Shed Online’s mid-month update
- Dr Karl Q&A - Part 4: We’ve posted Part 4 of our interview with Dr. Karl Krushelniski. In this installment he answers questions about Parkinson’s disease, improving your balance, and some little-known facts about tears.
- Used car tips: New in the Activities section, we’ve got some tips for buying a second-hand car. Our car guy, Jason, shows you what to look out for.
- Smartphone app discussion: At the start of the month we told you about our new smartphone and apps technology activity. The shed community has started a discussion topic where you can post apps that you’ve come across and would like to recommend to other Shedders.
- Film reviews: The Shed Online now has a blog. We’ve just added two more movie reviews - one for the recent Australian film Oranges and Sunshine, and the other for golden oldie, On The Waterfront.
- Hearing health Q&A: As part of our Hearing Health Focus that’s on during February you can send in questions for our Q&A with a hearing expert. Post your hearing-related questions on the discussion topic and we’ll be back with answers in early March.
Make sure you have a good look around our activities, discussions, health and news and events sections. You’re bound to find topics that will interest you. If you’re new to The Shed Online, consider joining up as a member, to help us build Australia’s biggest shed.
‘Hope you’ve had a great summer.
‘Til next time, Shedders!
