I'm here at Phillip Island checking out the Australian Touring Car Masters. Let's have a look at what's new on The Shed Online, in our mid-month update.

Shed TV

• Mustang Sally: Champion race driver, John Bowe, shows us his 1969 Ford Mustang. In the boot, under the hood, and at the wheel – take an inside look at this petrolhead’s dream vehicle.
  

• Spanner in the Works: As part of Men's Health Week this June, the Australian Men's Shed Association has organised a number of health screening and information sessions at Men's sheds around Australia. They've named these sessions "Spanner In The Works". We went to The Hills Men's Shed to find out more. Have a look to see what it was all about, and to hear from some of the participants.

Activities

• Chicken and vegie kebabs: For healthy eating, try cooking our chicken and vegetable kebabs. We've posted a new recipe activity, hosted by our mate Tom. Kebabs are easy to make, and they make a colourful dish to present when you've got someone over for a meal. Just a few simple steps and, abra-kebab-ra, you're done!

• Men’s Shed activities: Does your Men’s Shed have a great activity you’d like to share with other shedders? Email some photos plus a few written steps on how you went about completing it to webteam @ theshedonline.org.au. Take a look at the Manningham Men’s Shed condiment caddy activity for some inspiration.

• IT expert Q&A: Our new Ask An Expert Q & A for this month is on the subject of information technology. Post your questions in the Discussions section and we'll find answers to all your curly computer conundrums.

• Film review - The Club (1980): Have a look at our new movie review. Actually, it's a new review about a not-so-new movie! "The Club" stars Jack Thompson, and tells the story of a football club, working its way through the season. If you haven't seen it before, have a look for it in your local video store.

• Board game review: Passionate board gamer, Jim, has two more board game recommendations for you to check out.

• A reality check on alcohol: It’s Men’s Health Week, so do your health a favour and take a look at this article by Dr Matthew Frei, Head of Clinical Services, Turning Point Alcohol & Drug Centre.

• Book club: There's nothing quite like relaxing with a good book.
